MIDI MARSHMELLOW™ - STANDALONE USB MIDI HOST
Play your hardware synth with fruit, plants or a touch, no computer needed. MIDI Marshmellow™ connects Playtron, TouchMe or Biotron straight to a synth, drum machine or any other gear with a MIDI input.
It is a pocket-size USB MIDI host, designed, programmed and tested in Berlin by Pinkcloud Engineering. It also works with any class-compliant USB MIDI keyboard or controller, and its cheeks blink with every note it passes.

- Connect Playtron, TouchMe or Biotron to the USB-C port on the bottom of the Marshmellow (between its feet) with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Older models with a micro-USB port need a micro-USB to USB-C cable.
- Connect MIDI Out to your synth with a 3.5 mm TRS MIDI cable (Type A). For a DIN-5 MIDI input, use a TRS Type A to DIN adapter.
- Power the Marshmellow through the USB-C port on top from any 5 V USB charger or power bank. The USB-C to A cable that comes with Playtron and TouchMe works for this.
- Both cheeks glow when your device is recognised. Start playing: the cheeks blink with every note.

- MIDI only: it does not pass audio
- It powers the connected controller. Very power-hungry controllers need their own power supply
