Un très bel outil ludique et pédagogique pour composer

Ce séquenceur physique et circulaire rappelle un peu les séquenceurs euclidiens.

Il permet de lancer jusque 4 séquences en parallèle. Les aimants colorés (chaque couleur correspond à une note) permet de créer de la musique de façon intuitive et très visuelle. La précision des placements ne peut que difficilement être parfaitement précise ce qui rend la séquence moins parfaite et plus humaine.

Je vais m'en servir de deux façons : pour des installations sonores avec mon orchestrion midi en cours de création (le public va pouvoir créer ses propres musiques dessus) et pour des actions de médiations autour des automates sonores.

Playful Sequencer with incredible tactile access

After seeing Oribita at Superbooth I was very excited to have "my" Orbita in my hands. It's a fun, tactile sequencer with more options to play music and ambient setups, than visible at first hand. Thanks for this invention!
